Chimu Adventures supports Pinktartica voyage

first_imgChimu Adventures director Greg Carter, McGrath Foundation ambassador and director Tracy Bevan and Artist Ken Done Chimu Adventures and the McGrath Foundation, along with Australian artist Ken Done, showcased the up and coming feature voyage to Antarctica named ‘PinKtarctica’.The ‘PinKtarctica’ voyage will take place over 12 days, allowing travellers to explore the Antarctic Peninsula, whilst supporting the McGrath Foundation’s mission to raise money to fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia and increasing breast awareness in young Australians.Travellers aboard the expedition will be joined by McGrath Foundation ambassador and director Tracy Bevan and Ken Done.McGrath Foundation ambassador and director, Ms Bevan, said the fundraiser will go a long way in helping the Foundation ensure every family in Australia experiencing breast cancer has access to a breast care nurse no matter where they live or their financial circumstance.“We are proud to have funded 100 McGrath Breast Care Nurses working nationally, who together have supported over 25,000 families experiencing breast cancer in Australia and remarkable events like PinKtarctica will truly help us to continue to make a difference,” Ms Bevan said.​Source = ETB Travel News: Megan Tranlast_img
